Yet many a recruiter also has a story about a legal candidate that on initial encounter is brilliant, flawless, perfectly qualified and eminently ‘placeable’, but ends up acting in a way that makes them impossible to be placed.
The process of finding a job is a lot like deal making: when it works best, it involves teamwork, information sharing, negotiations, attention to timing, deliberate conversations and patience.
