Corporate Tax – Elite US law firm – 2PQE (£150,000+)

Reference: BD8841EG
Job type: Permanent
Location: UK - London
Practice areas:
CorporateTax
The corporate tax team at this elite US firm is central to virtually everything it does in EMEA from supporting the top tier M&A and fund formations teams to UK and international transactional tax planning and restructuring (and disputes) for some of the largest private equity funds and corporates. Matters tend to be bespoke, international and heavily tax driven. As a result its tax lawyers are given a disproportional level of responsibility for both client relationships and deal tempo. Transactions you will be involved in are generally hybrid debt/ equity and multi-jurisdictional and require you to use original thought to correctly structure. The head of the team is a City Stalwart and with the rest of the team made up with leading names, the practice is truly at the top tier.

They are seeking an England & Wales qualified associate, ideally at 2pqe, with experience at a leading firm for corporate tax issues. As junior-level lawyer you are promised exceptional work, real responsibility as soon as you are ready and compensation at the top of the market. An exceptional position in one of the most revered teams in the City.
