Edwards Gibson is working closely with a leading US law firm to find a mid-level competition/antitrust lawyer to join a top tier team. Known as a leading firm in London, the competition group undertake top quality work. Having worked closely with the partners over the last few years to grow the team with both senior and junior hires the group have asked us to assist them again, and have a specific need for an Australian qualified lawyer.

The team is seeking someone with 4 years’ PQE (c.3PQE in UK terms), who has excellent experience in a leading Australian firm, and a good knowledge of the Australian Competition authorities and regulations, to join the team in London.

The group undertakes a mix of contentious and non-contentious international, EU & domestic competition work, including behavioural work, with a focus on merger support for multi-jurisdictional transactions. The UK is the central hub for all non-US competition matters.

The ideal candidate will either be seeking to move over to London from a top tier Australian law firm, or will have spent a number of years in Australia before moving here recently. Up to date knowledge of the Australian competition regulations and requirements is key. The firm is seeking someone at 3PQE (equivalent of a 4pqe Aus lawyer).
