Senior EU/Competition Associate – 4-6 PQE

Reference: AJ9081EG
Job type: Permanent
Location: UK - London
Practice areas:
Competition/Antitrust
This leading international law firm is currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join its small, well-regarded competition team in London to bridge the gap between the partners and the more junior associates.

Given their client bases, many competition teams in corporate led international law firms, whilst undertaking excellent work, are unable to offer associates true variety over and above merger control. This firm bucks the trend and can offer a happy alternative for someone who is keen to gain a more varied workload.

The group undertakes a healthy mix of litigation, merger control, regulatory advice, and investigations, as well as related IP issues, and encourages its associates to spread across each. Clients stem from a variety of sectors and the Competition group has an extensive international reach, so quality and brand is assured.

The ideal candidate will have between 4-6 years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded practice, preferably with experience of both merger control and behavioural matters. Given the current structure of the group, this is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for higher levels of autonomy and responsibility, as well as variety.
