Although this highly profitable, well capitalised and truly international law firm has tip-top disputes credentials, with "bet the company" offerings across a range of industry sectors, its rankings in international arbitration are not as high as it might wish, nor reasonably expect.

In part, this is possibly because the firm does not strictly compartmentalise disputes into arbitration and non-arbitration matters, and possibly, because relatively few of its lawyers consider themselves to be primarily international arbitration specialists.

So, whilst the law firm does have a sound offering in commercial international arbitration "particularly in life sciences, energy and construction" as well as a bonsai investor state/ public international capacity, it would like to reinforce its international arbitration offering with a partner of standing whose primary focus is international commercial arbitration.
