Junior lawyers feel the pinch with below-inflation pay rises
"They once enjoyed huge annual pay rises and starting salaries that were in six figures for some graduates only a couple of years out of university — but the slowdown in the financial industry is affecting rank-and-file staff at the City’s leading law firms, according to research by a specialist legal recruiter.
Pay rates for junior lawyers have increased by less than inflation for the fourth year running, according to Edwards Gibson."
