Private Equity Law Firm – Managing Partner Back to List

As a private equity partner you are probably not used to reading ads, as you are too busy batting away head hunters, asking whether you would move to a US law firm and if you have a large portable following. So, this is something quite different, while still being a traditional law firm. This role focuses on autonomy not international management and creativity not billable hours. Einstein said, "creativity is intelligence having fun".

The strategy of this law firm is not rocket science, but it is trailblazing and it will move the legal market with the right person at the helm. It has also been said that "creativity doesn't wait for the perfect moment". The timing for this role, however, does seem to be very good  maintenance of a low interest rate environment, the opportunity to move away from big law, and a chance to create an innovative structure providing clients with a better legal service. Apart from the intangible attributes of a leader, you will also need to have a good reputation in mid-market private equity and ideally a small pool of loyal private equity firm clients.

This law firm will provide you with a highly lucrative package. Sometimes you can have quality, remuneration and vison all in one firm - you will be able to create something special and leave a legacy.
