With a big name hire in the US in 2020 and rapid growth in the Americas, there is positive momentum to build an energy practice in the London office.

There are a number of leading lawyers in overlapping practice areas which provide an excellent foundation for a projects practice. There have also been a number of energy matters referred to the London office from around the network (only some of which have been able to be serviced) and as this flow of work has increased, so has the commitment to recruit an energy projects partner.

This is a first time appointment in London, the US practice covers the full range of old and new energy, so there is flexibility on initial practice area focus.
